JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as a Strategic Asset Management Solutions Architect, where you’ll optimize business processes and technology across the Asset Management domain. In this senior role, you’ll shape both SAP and non-SAP solutions to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals.

In this role you will:

Lead the full lifecycle of global applications—from planning and design to development, rollout, and support—for both off-the-shelf and custom systems.
Oversee integration of SAP PM, IM, PS, and DMS with other enterprise systems.
Drive implementation of project management systems, mobile maintenance tools, and predictive maintenance initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and partners to translate processes into effective technology solutions.
Ensure systems are scalable, stable, and compliant, managing testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Act as the bridge between maintenance, engineering, and IT teams, providing expert guidance on system design and performance.

Operating primarily in Europe with remote support to Australia, you’ll report to the Group Manager of IT Applications and play a key role in advancing our asset management strategy and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS

Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience: 10+ years in enterprise asset management, including deep hands?on expertise with SAP PM, PS, and DMS (configuration, master data, integration) and sound knowledge of maintenance and project engineering operations.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities; capable of managing budgets, timelines, and offshore teams.
Strengths: Analytical and detail?oriented with advanced problem?solving skills under pressure.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of maintenance management principles, asset lifecycle, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
Industry Background: Experience in asset?intensive industries (mining, manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas).
Bonus: Practical experience with mobile maintenance tools and exposure to predictive maintenance or reliability engineering (e.g., IoT, condition monitoring, predictive analytics).
