JOB SUMMARY
As an HSE Applications Architect, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining and enhancing business processes within the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) functional area, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure optimal operations. Your responsibilities encompass the full lifecycle management of global applications, including planning, designing, developing, and providing ongoing support for both off-the-shelf and custom-built technology solutions tailored to the specific needs of the HSE domain. You will be instrumental in implementing systems that are both scalable and stable, overseeing the testing and maintenance of these applications. Additionally, you will provide crucial support for any business process changes necessitated by evolving business requirements, ensuring that internal control systems are robust and effective. Your role is essential in ensuring that HSE applications align with the organization's goals and adapt seamlessly to change, maintaining the integrity and efficiency of business functions.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS
We are seeking a seasoned Applications Management Professional with over 10 years of operational experience and a deep expertise in HSE&S systems, particularly the EVOTIX platform or similar HSE management systems. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology and have a proven track record in delivering projects that meet strict timelines, budgets, and quality standards. They must be adept at managing offshore suppliers and demonstrate a solid understanding of the mining/manufacturing sectors and their HSE processes. Proficiency in relational databases and softwares (experience in Intelex is a plus) and report generation is essential, along with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within an organization, and be innovative with advanced problem-solving capabilities, maintaining logical thinking even in high-pressure situations.
