JOB SUMMARY
As a Group Reporting Accountant reporting to the Group Consolidation & Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across our global operations. With a focus on group consolidated financial statements and adherence to IFRS, you will ensure our operations are accurately represented on a monthly, interim, and annual basis. Your expertise will be instrumental in consolidating results, facilitating intercompany eliminations, and managing the group balance sheet and cash flow. As a critical member of the Group Finance team, you will collaborate closely with subsidiaries, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and providing training and support on SAP BPC/EPM reporting. Additionally, you'll be involved in preparing stand-alone financial statements, contributing to technical accounting papers, and driving continuous improvements in our reporting processes.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS
We are seeking a qualified Group Reporting Accountant with a Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a CPA, RA, or ACCA certification. The ideal candidate should have a minumum of five years of experience in financial accounting or audit, with a strong grasp of multinational, multi-currency consolidation practices. Proficiency in Excel and exceptional data analysis skills are a must. The candidate should possess superior technical knowledge of IFRS and be a super user of consolidation systems such as BPC (EPM), HFM, OneStream, or Cognos. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves liaising with finance and non-finance professionals globally. Fluency in English is required, and Dutch proficiency is preferred.
