JOB SUMMARY

As the Group Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager, your role encompasses inspirational leadership of the team responsible for group consolidation and financial accounting at the head office, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards for monthly and annual financial reporting, and overseeing the accounting activities at HQ. You will work closely with the finance team to deliver precise consolidated financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Your responsibilities include directing the monthly consolidation process via SAP BPC, preparing statutory annual reports, managing audit procedures, liaising with external auditors, maintaining financial reporting policies, and staying abreast of IFRS developments. Additionally, you will oversee the accounting for Nyrstar's sales, marketing, holding, and financing entities, while supporting local Finance Managers with their reporting queries.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS

We are seeking a finance management professional with a minimum of 10 years' finance experience, ideally from a Big 4 or similar audit firm background. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in team leadership, be well-versed in consolidation tools like BPC, and possess in-depth knowledge of IFRS, including expertise in IFRS 9 Hedge accounting. The ability to communicate complex IFRS policies clearly is essential. Candidates should have advanced Excel skills, be fluent in English, and proficiency in an additional language is advantageous. A proactive, solution-oriented approach is required, along with a master's degree and professional qualifications such as RA or CPA.
