JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as an ESG Data Analyst where you will help drive Nyrstar’s sustainability strategy by delivering high-quality, audit-ready ESG insights that power smarter, compliant reporting.

In this role, you will:

Support Nyrstar’s ESG strategy and sustainability reporting, ensuring compliance with ESRS and CSRD requirements.
Consolidate, validate, and benchmark ESG data to deliver high-quality, audit-ready datasets for consolidated reporting.
Develop and enhance data governance and tooling to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in ESG reporting.
Collaborate across departments to align ESG metrics with operational plans, budgets, and long-term sustainability goals.
Drive continuous improvement in data collection systems to meet evolving reporting expectations year after year.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Energy Management, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years’ experience in ESG data management, sustainability reporting, or data analysis, ideally in mining, metals, or manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of ESG and sustainability frameworks such as ESRS, GRI, CSRD, CDP, TCFD, and GHG Protocol.
Proven ability to prepare and validate data for external audits or assurance processes.
Hands-on experience with ESG data tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sphera, Intelex, SAI360).
Skilled in designing and managing automated data workflows to streamline ESG reporting.
Familiarity with European sustainability regulations and reporting standards.
Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch, French, or German are an advantage.
Certifications in sustainability reporting (e.g., GRI Standards, SASB, GHG Protocol, EU Taxonomy) preferred.
